Didn’t write yesterday because we came back home at 1:00 to sleep at 2:00! Tired! except today was 2:15 am. lol
Club Cool is like a baby World of Coca-Cola. You can help your unlimitedly (though you probably shouldn’t do that…) to the flavored drinks above. It was funny to see some other folks taunt each other into trying Beverly again. Some kids were watching me drink it and were like omg is that actually good no way he’s faking it trying to see if I flinch whe drinking it. But nah it hits the spot for me!
Soarin’ is normally based on places around the world, but for America’s 250th birthday (TM) we get to focus on places in the United States only! I kind of felt like it was missing San Francisco’s city skyline or the Golden Gate Bridge since it included other metropolitan areas like New York and Los Angeles and maybe I could have been like heyy I work in *that* building in San Francisco but we’ll have to settle for other iconic spots like Mt. Rushmore and some swamps in Louisiana.
I’ve only been to EPCOT during its food and wine festival, so to me it seems like it’s the norm and not a special occasion. So, a lot of food to try!
My brother accidentally grabbed the wrong flavor twice, so we ended up with two of those. No takebacks for food safety purposes, I suppose. I particularly liked the edamame one’s eggplant squash serving as a fine complement ‘sauce’ to the gyoza. Though the gyoza are mostly boiled instead of normally being ‘fried’ on the bottom like you would for potstickers…
Buffalo wings with dill pickle ranch and frozen cranberry tea with orange molecules. Unfortunately we were inside while drinking the beverage so it was a little too frozen to drink through the straw. Probably better if you were walking around outside with it in the hot Florida sun?
Australian Lamb rib. Very tender!
A berry ice pop with condensed milk with some of the spicy powder. I’m not to big on the spicy powder but the condensed milk filling goes well with the berry bar.
A melty swiss cheese sandwich. Though it wasn’t 1005 fresh so the cheese hardened a little…
A german pasta dish called Schinkennudeln. My german friend said you can pronounce the first part like 真剣 but I forgot the rest already. Oops. I like the fat cheese part on top!
My favorite EPCOT drink, the frozen moroccan mint tea. The sun was barrelling down at the time we got it so this really hit the spot. Unfortunately you can’t buy two at a time since the 2nd one will be all melted by the time you’re on the 2nd one… but perhaps there will be another time?
Ravioli! I forgot what’s in it though. The pomegranate arils were softer than I was expecting so somehow it goes pretty well with it.
And the reward for getting 5 cheese dishes… A Key Lime Pie flavored Dole Whip with some graham cracker crumbles! You can’t get this flavor any other way, but it’s well earned.
Cosmic Rewind: awesome as usual but we didn’t get September by Earth WInd Fire for the music track out of three rides. ):
Frozen: They updated the animatronics so that the faces for the characters are actually on the animatronic itself, rather than just being a blank head with the face being projected on to them by light. It looks more realistic this way and they probably took a note from Fantasy Springs’ ride.
Universal’s Epic Universe hosted their first night event! We were worried that they might have oversold the number of tickets since there were a lot of people when we entered at 19:00, but once the regular people left it was ok. What’s normally a 3 hour wait for Mario Kart was only 10 minutes! Definitely the best way to experience the rides. Everything else I already rode before, but our main goal here was…
Stardust Racers! Last time we were here last year some guy named Kevin died on it and the family was trying to sue for money, so we couldn’t ride it at all while they were sorting out the legal ramifications of someone dying on their ride. But damn the ride itself is almost practically perfect with the lighting of the cars, dueling elements, countless near misses, and the song that plays during the ride. I should probably do an entire ranking list of roller coasters I’ve ridden one of these days…
They were also giving out these little buns for free. Fun!

Cheeseburger and pizza egg rolls. I only ate the cheeseburger one since after I took a bite we found it it has pickles in it and my brother hates pickles. But I love pickles, so more for me. MmMmMm. I think I won since he said the pizza one is just ok.
Orange dole whip. this orange looking ass bird is a collab between Disney and the Florida Citrus Commission, but with the recent turn of Florida citrus getting owned by greening disease we know how well that’s going…!

Star Wars Pot Roast. Pink milk kinda sucks… I’ll have to come back some time again to try the other two. I think blue milk is where it’s at according to my companions
A wawa gobbler sandwich, which is a turkey dinner stuffed into a sandwich. So here we have Turkey, stuffing, mashed sweet potato, and cranberry sauce. Very messy here but I’m particularly fond of Thanksgiving dinners, so I think it’s a hit!
And for the first time in my life I’ve went to three different parks in one day. A special night event at Busch Gardens Tampa so we can get night rides on Iron Gwazi. I think it’s better at night since it runs a tad bit slower than when it’s blazing hot, which I appreciate since the last two elements aren’t trying to kill you and destroy your knees/thigh bones when flinging you out of the seat. I think I just might move this above Steel Vengeance in the #2 slot for best roller coaster… but I need to figure out where Stardust Racers fits in to the list. hmm
OK its 7:00 am time to go to islands of adventure bye (does that make this october 5th now???????????? maybe)
