I was originally lamenting the lack of Dormy Inns and the in-house onsen they have at each one, but you can just find an onsen/sento nearby and it should be good enough… perhaps? I guess you do have to go outside to get back to your hotel instead of just taking the elevator back to your hotel room. I mainly booked the Hyatt hotels with Chase Sapphire reward points, otherwise I’d definitely go with Dormys where possible. Maybe next year…!?

today’s lunch is mentaiko udon. I probably didn’t need the large :^)

It’s kind of similar to a lobster bisque in terms of flavor. the tempura crisps get soggy after soaking in a bit so that’s whatever, but in the back is some parmesan cheese flakes that are absolutely great once melted into the soup. I stirred the mentaiko scoop into the soup and… I couldn’t tell it was there anymore… maybe I should have just eaten it with a bite of noodles.

so right now work is like I come in 09:30 and worked until 12:15 and then went to lunch for two hours and then dicked around until 15:30 and walked out. let’s freaking go. I was telling my friend if I really do change jobs I don’t know how to work 8 hours in a day anymore…!

These things are oily and these bags can resist the oil the onaholes would otherwise leach outonto something like ordinary fabric or cardboard.

How to clean?

Run the water into the hole and poke your finger in and scoop out your jizz until you can’t feel anymore lube or cum in it. Then use a rag (I use an old t-shirt) and stick it in with your finger to absorb the water until it’s dry. Then stuff it in your bag. You can use soap if you want, but by doing so you’ll strip the onahole of its oils more quickly and will degrade it more quickly. Don’t bother with the corn starch shit, just buy new ones.

after top 8 cut I get to play for placements 25-32! 4th in the first game by not winning enough points, no bad deal ins but 1st place from 1st round dealt into some bad hands which made my comeback possible. All last I have a tanyao nomi tenpai to end it but choose to call noten at the end to prevent going to s-4-2 after figuring out that she wasn’t tenpai either after she was tossing genbutsu to fold. A little risky since if she was tenpai then I lose. But it’s good to believe in your conviction and go for it…!

uhh big wins in the first round then I coasted the 2nd round since 2nd place in 1st round was 4th from unfortunate deal-ins

So we got 25th. I think overall I was happy with what I did except for the mistake in game 6 where I lost track of riichis and dealt in carelessly. For these big events it’s more about how well you can farm other players moreso than your actual skill since it’s point cut-offs instead of direct placements and I ran into some very strong players… so I’ll take it!

2. Their discard had 27m ayk and I drew 3m and had to think for like 20 seconds to push or not… Then she would discard 8s a few turns later

1. Bystander game… Game was gone when toimen dealt in to riichi ippatsu tan sanshoku ura1 for oya haneman in s-1. Dealt in on s-2-0 on hatsu toi toi (Nan) tenpai for 78/120 to fall. To third and nothing came back
2. Pushed a juicy 6s Dora s-2 that ended up being safe but I don’t think I can fold value hands given top 8 cutoff and now I’m behind

1. Toimen ran away quickly with oyahane tsumo in e-2. Got some cheap hands and a bug toi toi Dora 3 tenpai that didn’t materialize on e-4-2. Shimocha riichi in all last but luckily toimen tsumo 1:30 to put an abrupt end to that and keep me in 2nd
2. No misplays I don’t think just no chance to get big points
3. My deal in was afterI oikake riichid tan Dora but dealt in to his riichi nomi

1. Unlucky / some lucky game – e-1 I fast riichi pin Dora (iipeikou) but I get chased by kamicha for ippatsu and stuff for mangan. E-3 I ippatsumo chiitoi and accidentally call 6000 all (lol minor error) then get ippatsumo oyakaburi mangan Ed e3-1 and s-3-0 get ippatsumo oyakaburi haneman. Point losses were basically. Unavoidable so I did what I could
2. S-4-0 I had tanki Dora yakuhai tenpai but tossed it for nobetan yakuhai nomi since 2nd place is out of reach and to shut 4th place out
3. Starting to feel a little fatigued (caffeine crash?) after 7.7 hrs but one more game for today
4. Overall I don’t think I’m missing a beat despite not having played irl like at all. This year
5. So I’m really happy with my play rn

1. Lost track of who called riichi first in s-3 and dealt in to what I thought was safe tile in first players riichi pond… first big mistake
2. Tsumo party and I’m not invited ahhhhg
3. I was looking for kokushi overflow in E-2-0 when norl hit it but he didn’t even overflow and owned the other guy

Currently barely positive. It’d be nice to drop out but I think we should take advantage of the strong players in town and get in the last 6 games even if the games don’t matter at this point or I don’t say a fucking word to anyone because I’m a loner. At the very least let’s try to win the last best of 2s after round 8 cut-off…!
