Today we did deadlifts! I worked my way up to 205×5 using straps after 185 lbs. It gets a little ギリギリ with the grip at that weight for me since my forearm strength weak, so we’ll use straps as assistance to help get the deadlift done. I used to try stuff like hook grip and mixed grip which involves gripping the barbell more differently that is better than your normal double overhand grip, but since I’m not competing or anything, who cares…?

Walking and doing more stuff has been making me more thirsty, so hopefully that is a good thing. According to a quick internet search it seems tha tbeing more thirsty is associated with a number of health problems, so hopefully that isn’t me. At least I’m thinking now hmm maybe I should go do something while I look at things on the internet. But let’s make sure we keep the petal on the medal and don’t let up!
